Senior Scenic Carpenter & Designer

I am the Senior Scenic Carpenter for Encore, a global leader in the corporate exhibition & event industry. The role requirement involves both the design and fabrication of complex features for high

specification projects in United Kingdom, Europe and UAE. My role is to transform a client concept via rendered images to crayon drawings into the completed physical work based on my extensive knowledge of materials and production techniques.

The role of Senior Scenic Carpenter involves responsibility for the day-to-day operation of the carpentry workshop including construction of custom sets, CNC operation, building & maintenance of house stock inventory, material purchasing and control, in-house and freelance staff management, staff training, job allocation and health & safety compliance.

The scenic workshop is a high volume environment which caters for prestigious clients requiring high quality innovative end products. I have worked on some of Encore's prestigious worldwide projects however due to confidentiality agreements there are restrictions on those I can identify.
